The Institute for Theoretical Physics at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology invites applications for a postdoctoral position in THEORETICAL PARTICLE PHYSICS, with special focus on quantum field theory and cosmology.

This particular postdoc position is funded by the Helmholtz Association and the main research topic is the TAMING OF THE BIG BANG by use of an appropriate solution of the IIB matrix model (a nonperturbative formulation of type-IIB superstring theory).

The funding of this position is only for the calendar year 2022.
A starting date of 1 January 2022 is, in principle, possible.
